The programme is designed for adults: you study at your own pace and combine learning with work and other responsibilities.
This programme suits you if:
- you want to earn an American High School Diploma as an adult,
- you plan to go to university, change career or stand out in the job market,
- you need online study that fits around work or family.
Previous study and what the diploma is for
Before you enrol, our admissions team reviews your previous transcripts (grade transfer) and discusses how you plan to use the diploma. Check a specific university's or employer's requirements directly with them.
The diploma and next steps
Students who meet all programme requirements receive an American High School Diploma issued by American High School.
Under Polish rules on recognising foreign qualifications, the diploma can be the basis for applying to university in Poland as well, once the chosen university's requirements are met.
How learning works for adults
The system fits around daily commitments such as work or childcare, not the other way round. There are no compulsory live lessons and no in-person exams.
Platform available 24/7
Videos, assignments, quizzes and projects. A computer and a stable internet connection are enough.
Teachers and a Student Counselor
On the American school's side, subject teachers and a Student Counselor support you.
Coordinator in Poland
A JDJ coordinator helps with organisation and your ongoing progress.
English at the start
At least B1 is recommended. With a lower English grade you start with a 3-month ESL course.
School year
10 months from account activation, with extensions available; you can also finish early.
Optional mentoring
A paid option for one-to-one support with your path and university applications.
